Family House – Vaucluse

This house was designed for a family on a steeply-sloping site in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. The house is arranged over three levels with the main street entry at the top level of the block. From here the site slopes to another pedestrian entry at the rear street level 14 meters below.

The middle ‘living’ area is built into the upper part of the block to create a long, level north facing outdoor area with adjoining internal living areas. The upper bedroom level overlooks the outdoor areas whilst having extensive harbour views.
