Courtyard House – Woollahra

Under Construction: Due for Completion 2021

On an unusually large block in a dense urban setting of predominantly terrace houses, this two-storey home is built around the edges of the site to form a large square courtyard measuring just over 10x10 meters. The house is designed so all rooms have an opening to the private courtyard, with generously proportioned 3 meter high steel framed French doors at ground level.

Inside the house features limestone floors throughout and extending into the courtyard, an elliptical staircase, a domed entry hall with central ocular skylight, bespoke timber and plaster ceiling designs and soft textured white walls forming a calm backdrop for the owners eclectic art and antique collection.
